Health/Safety
Head Lice
·
We are continuing to have incidents of head lice/nits reported
to us.
·
Please inspect you child’s hair regularly and if live lice are
found, treat appropriately.
·
Advice about treatment is available from pharmacists, health
visitors and G.P.s.
·
In school, long hair should be tied back at all times.
·
A booklet on ‘The Facts About Head Lice’ published by the Welsh
Assembly Government is available from the school office. This
covers detection, treatments and contact tracing.
·
Clothing
Please ensure that your child wears suitable clothing
for school. Crop or strappy tops, flip-flops or high heel shoes
should not be worn in school at any time.
Use of School Driveway
·
Please help to keep our children safe by using the pedestrian
entrances to the school. The driveway is in constant use and
drivers may be unable to see children, or adults, who are
walking on the driveway. The driveway is for vehicle access
only.
·
If we teach our children to respect this rule, then we are not
putting their safety at risk.
·
Parents should not drive onto the premises unless they are a
disability badge holder, or their child has been injured and is
unable to walk.
·
Thank you for your co-operation in these matters. Diolch yn
fawr.
·
Rules : Rheolau
We would be grateful if parents could ensure that
children do not bring unnecessary items into school, including
toys and games, pencil cases, pens, pencils and other writing
equipment. All necessary resources are provided by the school.
Thank you for your support. Diolch am eich cefnogaeth.
